About Me
Nurturing Roots Play Therapy
I am a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas with a National Counselor Certification. I work with children, teens, and young adults. Through personalized strategies and engaging activities, I empower each client to develop essential skills for better social interactions and emotional regulation.

I received my Bachelor's in Psychology and my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Tarleton State University. My career in the field began in private practice and various school settings.

I had the privilege of having an inspiring supervisor, Dr. Pedro Blanco, who supervised me for many years and is now a consultant to guide and support my professional development.

I practice from a client-centered approach where I allow my clients to lead their sessions. This approach helps fulfill my clients' potential and help them become the best they can be. I have witnessed incredible bravery, compassion, and trust throughout my clients' journeys.

In my down time, I cherish the time I have with my husband, three daughters, grandbaby, and our Aussie. We enjoy traveling, outdoor hiking, and biking.

With young adults, I work alongside them as they navigate life transitions, family dynamics, cultural struggles, and generational traumas.
